A design consultation for the TCC group, Scotts 27 is envisioned as more than a restaurant — a curated hospitality experience where traditional Chinese culture meets contemporary luxury, reinterpreting classical Chinese architectural language through a refined modern lens.
Inspired by the rhythm of traditional Chinese courtyards, tea houses and heritage residences, the space is organised as a sequence of experiences: intimate lounges, a vibrant bar, private dining suites and tea rooms, each with its own atmosphere yet connected by a unified design language.

Material, craft and light
Warm timber, handcrafted brickwork, textured stone, bronze detailing and bespoke joinery establish a rich material palette. Contemporary moon gates, lattice screens and sculptural feature ceilings create focal points without overwhelming the space, while layered warm lighting and abundant daylight carry the room from day into an intimate fine-dining evening.
